Appropriation of Alleyways
The project identifies characteristics of liquid modernity in a threatened district to propose an architectural response towards a community willing to marry technology into their livelihood. The interdisciplinary approach with architecture and technology integrated into the spaces serves as a prototype proposal to the relevant authorities and communities. Three areas are illustrated in this thesis; i) Residential & Commercial in Narrow Alleyways, ii) Micro-Economy Junction and iii) Residential Cluster in Open Street.
