Integrating Transportation of the Future

Drones are in the near future of transportation that are expected to help relieve land congestion, reduce strain on existing public transportation networks, and move people quickly around urban areas. Considering that trial flights took off in October 2019, drones as flying taxis are expected to be available in Singapore by 2025.

Taxi to working population ratio of Singapore’s Central Business District (CBD) is used to extrapolate the provision of drone taxis for the city skyport
to support the working population in the new business districts.
